The purchase of this door was a huge mistake. None of the smart features work. The RFID reader can recognize my pets chip, but won't allow the chip to be used for the pet. The external (additional cost) tags don't work reliably either and are big and bulky. The worse part is you cannot even schedule the door to lock and unlock at fixed times. There is a schedule feature but it requires the RFID tags, which as stated do not work. There isn't an API to use to replace this non-functional app either

Overall the product is good(3.5 stars). I have been using it over the past 8 years and enjoy not having to get up early or rush home to feed my dog. The 2 issues I have are 1. On my 3rd feeder as parts break and 2. The app does not allow for individual feeding setting. (I.e fast feed in morning and slow feed in evening).

Caution: In 2024, there was a major app update (the one that resulted in the new logo). When that happened, the Meals Scheduled amounts for all of my cats changed to 1/4 cup, which is way less than what they should be eating.

Despite the app updates and bug fixes... I am still Not able to save new schedule or update the current scheduled feeds. Not able to feed pets on demand. Sent an enquiry to customer service, NO answer 😒 very disappointed. The new app upgldate didn't solve the issue. Please fix it!!!!

Feeder Stopped working since update poor dog is going to starve going to have go manual and push the button on the feeder top, please fix before I wear my finger out

This app does not have my stay n play in it. Only the guardian. Kinda sticks considering what I paid for it

I would be really grateful if you guys add a feature that allows for a different scheduled feeding setting on the weekend as opposed to on weekdays. On the weekend I require different amounts because I'm not around as much to feed him. Other than that, the app is fine.

When setting up wifi, it doesn't allow you to type in the full wifi password.

Feeder has stopped talking to the app entirely - I can't even re-enable the feeder device button
