Data suddenly lost, what should I do?

Was a good basic app for years ... until it became plagued w/loud, invasive ads for junk games. I plan to uninstall.

Great app, but some bug makes it shut down on its own in mid-text typing with that causing to lose typing. Edit: This app keeps crashing and more problematic is that it idiotically keeps showing ads that keep installing solitare game on my phone. I keep uninstalling that game. I dont care how many times they try to get it on my phone to run on background, I will not allow those unapproved games on my phone. Please address intrusive ads. I think those should be outlawed altogether.
