Used to be good. The inbuilt parental controls were the reason I purchased this router. Now, it won’t work consistently. Today, I can’t open the Circle app OR get into the router settings. I am currently researching replacement routers with inbuilt parental controls that definitely won’t be Netgear!

Notification isn't working for months. No word from Circle.

Netgear use to let you control your devices without a separate app. This app is horrible and is delayed when shutting devices off.

Third time I've had to trash this app. It shut me out of my wifi completely. When I tried to uninstall/reinstall it won't connect to my router. It's good when it works but a nightmare when it doesn't.

Terrible app. You can read the rest, it just doesn't work. I'm the only admin and it sent me a code that doesn't work. Request for the code again, sent me the same code which didn't work.

Used to be good but now the app is replicating connected devices tens of times and you'll never know which of them is the real one until you go and remove them from circle one by one and see the new one that will be added. Also when you assign a device to certain profile that you created and put some restrictions on this profile, the device will be automatically moved to the home default profile which defies the purpose of creating other profiles and putting restrictions on it. Please fix this!

Once set up, it is ok overall with several annoying problems. 1.Multiple notifications for same issue. Child reaches time limit and will have 4 notifications on my phone. 2. Settings do not save if you have to reinstall. All your devices and settings are wiped and you have to start over if you have to uninstall the app. I've changed phones a couple of times over the years and I have never received a "passcode" message to restore access.

This app was annoying to set up (got locked out, it would claim to text me an admin code but it never did), the interface is unintuitive, I am not sure looking at it if a person has used their time for the day. I don't like that my Netgear router forces me to use this low-rated app for a monthly fee if I want parental controls. Update: the app crashes and it is often hard to determine if the time is used up. I absolutely hate it but am forced to
