I grew up playing Peggle with my dad when I was younger so I was fairly excited to find it on the App Store to kinda relive my childhood and this game is ABSOLUTELY RIDDLED with ads at every opportunity. You win a level, ad. You lose a level, ad. You literally do anything at all, ad. So sad.

The game itself is fun, where I have a HUGE home with it is that it almost requires you to pay money to complete levels. I absolutely refuse to give money to EA because it’s just LOOT BOX GARBAGE. You’d think EA would learn from Battlefront II’s backlash but apparently not.
At least Candy Crush gives you free powerups and doesn’t REQUIRE money just to pass levels. 2/10 deleted it after downloading it.
EA, GET IT TOGETHER AND GET RIDE OF PAY TO WIN GARBAGE.

The people at EA should jump off the balcony of their high rise where they make these games. Ruined Peggle, ads and ads and ads, not getting a cent from me. Thanks for ruining a great.

Got to level 30 before the ads became obnoxious…by level 50…the game is unplayable. 30 second commercials BETWEEN LEVELS OR TURNS!! Not even watch an ad to get a boost. Ads between levels was the final straw. 5 lives isn’t worth the hassle. Deleted game. Sad too…was one of my favorites.

It’s a really fun and well made mobile version of an amazing game. I love it, I don’t know why it’s only 2.5 stars. Keep up the good work!

Used to love this game as it used to be super family friendly. Recently they’ve added so many ads that it is pretty unbearable to play and I do not like my kids playing games with ads, so it’s out of the question now. I would pay money for the old version without all the ads. Bring it back please, please, please!

So I get an and after every single turn after you used to be one of the few games I could play offline. Just terrible the way the app world operates. So disappointed

I love this game but the sheer amount of ads make it miserable to play sometimes. Also there is a huge problem with glitches. I had trouble on a level for a while and finally bought coins to use on power balls. Once I got past that level and was a few levels forward, it put me right back on that level. I bought the coins AGAIN and beat the level. Once again it brought me back to that level. It makes me want to delete the game entirely. I want to be compensated for the money I spent because it got rid of all of the power-ups I got when it took me back to that level.

I love original Peggle and have played it for years. I recently gotten this app so here is my honest review. The game itself is fun and mostly like the older version, BUT… there are way too many ads. Every time I want to play a board, I have to watch an ad. You get only 5 lives at a time and so much of the gameplay is taken up by ads. It also feels like the boards are impossible to get through unless you spend money or watch an ad. If they offered an ad free version, I would buy that. But the ads are out of control!
