They changed the UI to include check boxes and I cannot revert it back to the original. The new UI is... kind of bad. I feel like I should get a refund because I wouldn't have bought the app in this state.

Good but ultimately greedy. Adding an application to phone startup is super basic. I can understand requiring a single cheap purchase to unlock this but a subscription? Many music applications support "on startup" and are set so by default. In order to use this EQ in that situation, those apps need to be restarted after activating this EQ. The "feature" seems like a money grab. I paid for the app because the rest works well, so overall: Good EQ, easy, but inconvenient

The UI itself is good, however two big problems arise at least with my phone: The eq manipulator forces the phone volume to maximum which makes music utterly deafening with 80ohm headphones. The sin waves on the extreme ends of the spectrum can break speakers as well, which happened to my Sennheiser 280s. Sometimes, seemingly randomly, the volume will jump up while listening to music. This was 'true' across 3 streaming apps and several devices, I finally narrowed it down to this app.

The app itself functions perfectly. However, there is no appeal system for 'false' reports. Additionally, subscription users as per Tinder's site may not automatically discontinue their subscription if banned which is just not cool, bro. This hasn't impacted my experience yet as I have not been banned. The utter lack of customer support venues related to this is alarming, though.

App is functional but the matching algorithm heavily favors new profiles and spotlights. I am a conventionally attractive male and found after the first week or so (9 total matches), no new matches occurred over a month. Also, premium should be equal in price for males and females. IMO it is overpriced and definitely not worth the investment, which is crudely reflected in Bumble's aggressive no refund policy.
