I love how iMDB is chock-full of useful information, not only for actor or movie reference but also for how to view what you’re searching. Very easy to use and a goldmine of facts & trivia.

Because I mentioned that a show, made from a video game, which of course kids are going to want to watch, had sexualization and was ‘woke’, my review was censored. Sorry you don’t like the truth IMDB. Maybe you’re part of the problem.

IMDB is six degrees of separation. Full of information that leads me from one person or movie to another, to another, to another. It’s easy to lose time and yourself in it.

Why is there constantly a picture of either Obama in the background set ? Is this program woke ? Why not have a patriot like Kennedy or Washington? Or better yet feature a government building .

An excellent source of information.

Absolutely does not deliver anything that can not be found on other film sides. What you would expect from such a prominent provider that it would indicate how to watch the movies. It does not. Hence one star. In todays world, one can reasonably expect that it would inform the user how and where to watch it. It doesn’t.

4stars cause it doesn’t have it all

Was a time IMDB was the de facto site to visit and the app was a useful frontend. Not so much these days. I get it of course. Amazon owned, it’s primary purpose is to shove ads down our throats. But I feel the tipping point was reached some time ago, where no longer are the ads secondary to other content. I can’t in good conscience recommend this app over very many other alternatives. If the developers are ever allowed to make it what it once was, I’ll happily continue to use it. But for now, it’s time to uninstall and move on.

I watch reviews, see ratings and also find out where something is streaming (ex. Netflix, Hulu, etc).

I’ve been using IMDb since the days it was hosted at the University of Cardiff, and it’s great in all respects. But I want to plead for a feature request for the app…
The add-to-watchlist button, and being able to add notes to watchlist items, are both incredibly useful. But I need them to work together. Right now the process is hit the add button in the movie/show’s page, then go to my profile page, select the watchlist, hit the ellipsis button next to the entry, then choose Add Note. That’s incredibly cumbersome. Can’t I be offered the opportunity to add a note at the moment I add it?
