This app seems easy to use and intuitive.
It would be nice if I get a partner from using it.

Set my location to 5 miles still getting people 30 min away some even in Canada.

Very disappointed, upon signing up it is the bare minimum.. then you are required to keep paying. Not an app I would recommend or use again. Very small number of people.

Avoid at all costs.
Before the update, CMB was a great way of meeting new people. If people liked you, you could talk to them right away.
Now, if someone likes you, they’re hidden and you’ll never find them unless you pay for premium.
Just another greedy dating app company, nothing more to see here.

At first I was hopeful of this app, but then when I matched with a few people I suddenly was stopped cause I ran out of “free credits to chat” ?
I’m not very happy about that. It shouldn’t matter what app your using for dating/ chatting everything should be free. No premium upgrades that’s cost or no having to buy things to boost yourself. It’s stupid and redundant.

I got on this site bc of a gfriend & that I’ve been single for a very very long time!

Once you chat with someone elsewhere (not on CMB) you can no longer report them for scamming. It’s easy for the scammers to avoid being reported.

My experience with CMB:
I’ve been using this app along with bumble for about a month. The first day on CMB I had 4 likes on my profile. Since then, none. Which is fine. The part that makes the app suspicious, is the fact that I’ve never run into any of the three likes during the algorithmic feed. It’s almost as if they hide ppl who like each other to encourage longer user rate or paid membership. Furthermore, almost every time you “like” a profile you receive an interrupting upsell message asking if you want to purchase credits.
Comparing CMB to Bumble:
If I didn’t use bumble along side with CMB, I’d suspect maybe I’m just unattractive or have profile flaws.. however with identical profiles and counting how many swipes I do a day to match.. I get 2 - 3 matches a day on bumble.. clearly CMB either has a bad user base or they’re hiding matches.
I will continue to run my tests until I get tired of the app or meet someone for something long term.

The “free” version does not allow you see who liked you or to message people, so it completely useless. And the five men they suggested to me are no one I would even consider dating, so I’m not paying for it. It doesn’t look like this app has the quality of men I’m looking for, so I’m not going to pay. If you have standards this app is no good, if you’re looking for a hookup with just anyone, the free version may work for you.
