Too many problems. Food not delivered, poor food quality. Missing orders. I’m done. No more spending my money

I've hit my limit with DoorDash after several orders where Dashers completely ignored delivery instructions. Whether it's a simple request to ring the doorbell or to leave the order at a specific spot for contactless delivery, these directions seem to be overlooked consistently. The last straw was when my order, which needed to be left at the side door due to security concerns, was carelessly placed in front of my busy street-facing main entrance, clearly visible and vulnerable.
When I reached out to DoorDash customer support to address these repeated oversights, I was met with an utter lack of effective response. They offered nothing beyond generic apologies and failed to propose any measures that would prevent such issues in the future. It's disappointing and disheartening that there seems to be no accountability or mechanism in place to ensure that customer instructions are respected.
It’s not just about the convenience anymore; it's about the security and reliability that DoorDash fails to provide. I'm seriously reconsidering my use of their service, as they have shown no interest in safeguarding their customers' preferences or peace of mind.

I order my food and my dasher took a while to get the food which was alright. Then my first dasher cancels and when the next one shows up to the restaurant he calls saying the previous dasher stole my order. Of course I got my refund but the chat with DoorDash support was unclear, leaving me with a cliche message when I asked if I could have the first dasher reported. Very disappointing for my first order.

I ordered food and throughout the process and two drivers cancel on me. I was in contact with Support and they were not helpful throughout the entire time. At one point, Support said it would be best to just cancel your order after about two hours of waiting. This was because the driver turned around while they were at the pick up spot for my food and just left and then not responsive to Support. after all of this, I was refunded my food, but Support only offered me a five dollar voucher after wasting what became 2 1/2 hours of my time. They told me wait on line to speak to a supervisor and after 30 minutes, there was no response from a supervisor. I’m giving two stars because they did respond and refund my order, but they did not do much and basically made me feel like they were disrespecting my time and at the end of the day now I don’t have any food delivered for myself and my guests.

DoorDash has been really rocky lately all of the stores get my order wrong I haven’t gotten an order yet with all my items on the order but I still get charged this app takes so much money out of my pocket though it is convenient it’s becoming a pain to use..

Ordered dinner tonight on KFC’S website and DoorDash was supposedly delivering it, I didn’t choose them. I received a text msg saying the driver was having difficulty locating my VERY urban house & said I should call or text the driver. I called and got a weird voicemail service I left a msg w/my phone number and nothing happened, I called again got vm again left 2nd msg, I texted the number FOUR times never got a response, left a 3rd vm got a text msg from DoorDash saying my dinner had been delivered but my porch camera proves that NOBODY stepped foot on my porch tonight. DoorDash says that because the driver marked my dinner as delivered they can’t contact them and because the local KFC isn’t answering their phone I can’t get my dinner nor can I refund EVEN THOUGH DOORDASH FAILED TO MAKE THE DELIVERY. Talk about poor customer service.

I remember the days of Door Dash being good. RIP.

Orders are either inedible, made incorrectly, drinks spilled in bag soaking all of the food and customer service is absolutely no help. Will never be using this app again. I cannot express enough how awful their customer service team is.

Seems like the pricing is very inconsistent. So many times I delete my order and make food because $40 isn’t worth an order of 12 wings. Or $25 isn’t worth 3 items from Taco Bell. It used to be a good deal to order DoorDash from time to time. Now it’s changed from a weekly splurge to an every 3rd month gut punch. One star.
