Downloaded this when my old scrabble app stopped working. All the other reviews are true - this is absolutely terrible. No ability for pass and play (ie playing with people in real life - imagine!). Ad heavy, seems like all bots, not worth your time. Trying another app (word masters) to get the old experience

You don’t actually have to spell words properly to increase your score; for example someone played the word ET, and I checked it with the app’s dictionary and it said “to put in your mouth and chew”. No that’s EAT NOT ET

So glad when told me about this app today, this is my absolute favourite game

Why is there no option for classic Scrabble without all of the cheats in it?

The old, simple Scrabble was soooo much better.
Scrabble Go has too many gimmicks (stupid things to “win” or “collect”), way too many commercials, it freezes on commercials often not allowing you to return to the game without restarting it, and too much garbage all over the gameplay screen.
So disappointing.

I am totally disgusted that we will be losing our scrabble app and be offered this. It is an insult.

Paid 4.99 to get rid of ads and they didn’t stop. So you steal peoples money and now it’s an ad even more. This is a scam! I love scrabble but this shovel of ads is horrific.
Why are you shovelling these stupid games down peoples throats! I want my money back! Your offer of no ads is misleading and only took my money!!!!!
