I have attended a meeting through this app and to connect to my audio, it made phone call to the USA instead of using Wi-Fi or mobile data flow like 5G. I am losing over a hundred USD for the long phone call from outside USA and the aim of these online meeting apps itself is just avoiding such phone calls.
