A MeRSZ okoskönyvtár az Akadémiai Kiadó online szolgáltatása, amely számos magyarországi kiadó és felsőoktatási intézmény több száz magyar nyelvű szakkönyvének elérését biztosítja, 29 tudományterületen.
A kifejezetten a tanulás, oktatás és kutatás céljára létrehozott és azóta is nagy erőkkel fejlesztett online okoskönyvtár tudása messze felülmúlja a jelenleg ismert egyéb e-könyves megoldásokét.
A rendszer kialakításakor a sokszor igen összetett struktúrájú, részletgazdag ábrákat, táblázatokat, képleteket, hivatkozásokat és más speciális elemeket tartalmazó szövegek jellegzetességeit szem előtt tartva arra törekedtünk, hogy a felhasználói igényeket minél hatékonyabban tudja kiszolgálni. A felhasználóbarát felület, az élményszerű megjelenítés és a tartalomban való gyors és kényelmes navigáció egyaránt ezt a célt szolgálja. A releváns információ pontos és gyors elérését akár a teljes adatbázis, akár egy-egy mű szövegében való keresés segíti. A rendszer emellett egyéni könyvjelzők és jegyzetek elhelyezését is lehetővé teszi.
Az online megjelenés lehetőséget teremt a könyvek frissítésére is, hogy a felhasználók mindig naprakész tartalmakat kapjanak.
A művek bekezdésszinten hivatkozhatók, az idézett szöveghely pontos bibliográfiai leírása egyetlen kattintással választható formátumban kimásolható vagy valamely hivatkozáskezelő programba letölthető.
A művek száma évente 100-200 új kézikönyvvel, szakkönyvvel, jegyzettel bővül. A MeRSZ-en a magyar nyelvű tudományos művek, összefoglaló kézikönyvek, felsőoktatási tankönyvek mellett a Magyar Tudomány folyóirat is elérhető.
A MeRSZ applikáció letöltésével a hozzáférés mellett
• egyéni jegyzeteket hozhat létre és oszthat meg,
• könyvjelzőket, bejegyzéseket szúrhat a művek szövegébe,
• kedvenc műveket választhat és érhet el egy koppintással,
• valamint megtarthatja egyéni beállításait.

• kategóriaválasztás tudományágak szerint
• dokumentumrészek másolása vagy nyomtatása – akár a jegyzetekkel együtt

Előfizetés
• Az alkalmazás letöltése után, előfizetés nélkül 30 perces próbaidőszak alatt böngészhet a MeRSZ applikációban.
• Előfizetésével egyszerre használhatja a MeRSZ-et bármely eszközön, asztali számítógépén vagy épp mobiltelefonján.
• A MeRSZ alkalmazáson belüli, korlátlan, valamennyi műre kiterjedő előfizetési lehetőséget kínálunk, 12 hónapra 9990 Ft-ért.
• Az előfizetés az Apple iTunes rendszerén keresztül történik, az Ön Apple ID-jának használatával.
• Az előfizetés automatikusan megújul, ha nem kapcsolja ki ezt a lehetőséget az Ön Apple fiókjában az előfizetés lejárta előtt legalább 24 órával.
• Amennyiben a megújítási opciót nem kapcsolja ki, az Apple levonja a következő időszakra vonatkozó MeRSZ előfizetési díjat az aktuális előfizetés lejárta előtti 24 órás időszakban.
