Upon trying to create an account, I am sent a verification code to my email. But when I got to my email to retrieve the code and then return to the app to enter the code. It takes me back to the beginning of the login process. A vicious cycle that needs fixed.

Something changed about a month ago. Biggest complaint: the app doesn’t load after you open it one time. It opens but no content appears… the icon just spins. Another review mentioned that enabling notifications fixes this. They were right, but I don’t want notifications for this app. Please fix!

It would be nice to have the option to sort your shopping cart by department so everything is organized. Would be easier to see what you’re ordering.

The app never works. I can add groceries then have to do all other things on my computer. It’s been this way forever. I f-ing HATE it.

I love this app especially when I’m trying to find something unique in store that isn’t on any of the signs but lately something has been wrong with my mperks when I order delivery. I have a reward for free delivery available that expires soon but for the life of me it’s not giving me any option to redeem it. When I got to checkout it says zero rewards even tho clearly showing it on the main page. It’s the only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 also because I recently got over 7,000 points aka the amount needed to redeem free delivery based just on the points themselves and that option has disappeared all together as well so something buggy or fishy is going on that I would very much like sorted out. Otherwise great app honestly.

There is literally no way to change your store once you setup this app. I recently moved out of state and so I updated my store preference, my profile info, I’ve logged in and out multiple times and every. single. time. it goes back to the original store in the wrong state. It’s so FRUSTRATING because when I use the app to locate an item in the new store I get the aisle and stock information for the OLD store. Totally useless and I’ve just quit going because it’s so frustrating.

Often it appears that ratings are given and reviews written when a person has had an inconvenience or less than perfect experience. It could be that they have shopped at the venue multiple times in the past without any complaints, but usually, if ever, do they write a positive review. Sometimes they are even funny (to read) because their complaint is so absurd one might even question if the reviewer had actually shopped there!? As a business owner, I am well aware of the impact even one less-than-perfect review can have - at least on me, as we always go out of our way to make certain that everyone’s experience is positive. I also know that there are people you may never please. If the review begins, “I’ve been a customer for the past X # of years . . .,” then watch out for what follows!! If I have a really awful experience someplace and the business has failed to at least apologize, I MAY then write a negative review. Otherwise, I try to give a business a positive review occasionally just for the sake of fairness. Thus, this review of the Springfield, OH, Meijer and the Meijer app.
First, the app is a great resource for my shopping beforehand and during my shop. It is very detailed and helpful in more ways than I’m certain I am even aware. It may take a little while to acclimate to it, but once you learn where to find items on your app, or at least search for them, you will spend less time in store as well as less money.
Second, having the pharmacy on the same app (somewhat) is a boon. With the app keeping track of prescriptions, past and present, as well as other helpful health information and suggestions, it is a good, honest resource for non-urgent medical questions. Any more than they offer, get to the hospital or your doctor!
Finally, for the Meijer store in general, I have found that prices overall are pretty much in line with other stores for groceries. Sometimes an item may be more or less elsewhere, but on average, especially when taking into account the cost and frustration of running all over town to shop for the best price on every individual item, the product selection and availability, store cleanliness, staff assistance and attitude, store location, checkout time, etc. I will shop at Meijer without hesitation. In fact, it is now only one of the two stores where I do my grocery shopping, and that depends largely whether or not there are items on my list that are carried at only one of the two, or I just happen to be “in the neighborhood” of one or the other.
Are they perfect? NO, but not even my business is, no matter how hard we try. After all, if our Creator has people complaining about His handiwork, why should anyone expect perfection from a mere mortal? I recommend Meijer as a great example of really good attempt!

I literally have never wrote a review for an app before, but this one is so bad I have to. This is the absolute worst app to ever exist for grocery pickup. It’s always glitching out, Mperks coupons never load, and it’s nearly impossible to add a new payment method. If I didn’t have to use Meijer I wouldn’t. This app has serious problems.

Only works 10% of the time. App developers should be replaced

I’ve had the Meijer app for years and had always loved it, however, in the last 1-2 years it’s has scrolling issues on the main page to where if you try scrolling down the app glitches heavily and the app just closes out and shuts down itself. Plus I can no longer see the gas prices for my home store or surrounding area stores.
