    Beasts of burden brings a playful approach to taming the everyday pressures of life. Powered by an A.I. helping you identify behavior creating pressure, and developing habits that lead to increased wellbeing.





    How does it all work?

    The app builds on 30 years of research by Dr. Derek Roger into developing a resilient mindset. Showing that worried thoughts (rumination), release hormones into our system designed to help combat challenges. Over sustained periods of time, this very response tears on our immune functions and can lead to stress. Only by learning to calm our thoughts, can we avoid the negative effects of pressure in our lives.



    For some people this requires building structure in life, others strengthening social ties, yet others to practice being in the moment (mindfulness).





    Snack-sized challenges?

    In the app, pressure takes on the form of a beast draining your energy. Soon your inner-voice (it’s actually just our A.I.) begins serving you mini-challenges to help you tame your beast. Each challenge targets specific types of behavior shown to create pressure in life (such as 'Perfection behavior' or ‘Pleasing-behaviour’).



    Over time challenges adapt to your skill level and needs, helping you explore and tame internal and external pressures affecting your beast. What actions, thoughts, and habits are draining energy? What boosts energy?
