JavaScript is a great language for programming a calculator.

- It is a popular general purpose programming language that is easier to use and more powerful than custom “calculator specific” programming solutions.



Simple JavaScripts with one input can be written for keys.

Function Calculators will handle longer functions with up to 9 parameters.



There are many functions that already exist written in JavaScript or similar C based languages that can be used to create Function Calculators in CALC 1.



In addition to all of the Javascript build in functions, the CALC 1 has over 120 spreadsheet compatible functions like stdev(), normdist().
