Paris, 1924. The eve of the VIIIth Olympics. The midst of Les Années Folles. A bustling Saturday night. Locals and tourists alike, travelling from the bohemian bistrots to the late night cabarets or early morning shifts. All navigating their way through the maze which is the newly built Métropolitain. Can you help them catch their correct train on time? You are chef de gare for the Paris metro, serving as host and guide of the station. During your shift, travellers will ask for directions where their train of choice is leaving. Guide them correctly and earn their respect, failing to do so and it will drop. It is a hectic night with big crowds and only little time; how many travellers can you successfully help? Métropolitain consists of 25 levels, each modeled on historic representations of famed stations. From Concorde, Caumartin & Châtelet to Pigalle, Palais Royal and Place de Clichy. All while passing by closed stations like Saint-Martin restored to their former glory. All levels are uniquely generated each time, delivering a fresh look at history with each play. Upon completion of each level you unlock more details about the history of each station and the origin of the names. Step back in history and discover the stories behind the Métropolitain and the City of Lights.
