Absolutely excellent app, especially since it's 100% free.

A C- of an app that Reddit is promoting by crushing all other companies' access to their API. It kinda works, I guess, but is noticably worse then just about every 3rd party app.

What's more aggressive? Turn 4 lethal or Hearthstone's monetization?

Magic is great! Arena is a poorly maintained, buggy game. It features things like a deckbuilder that takes 10 seconds to load searches, and a "waiting for the server," screen whenever you change screens. Still better than MTGO, at least.

Definitely has the, "just one more battle and then I'll get back to work," feel you want in a roguelike.

Great game. Clearly inspired by Slay the Spire but with enough tweaks to make it feel like a game in the same genre, not a clone. Tons of unlocks to keep things interesting. Good, cohesive art style, too! 2022 update reworked the few issues I had with this game. A+!

UPDATE 4/21: Now it can't even be installed My favorite game for years and now it's broken. This game cannot be installed on Android 10. If you install on a previous installation of Android then upgrade to 10, it works. Something about the installer itself is broken. It's been broken for months, Asmodee doesn't care and Stoneblade don't have control of the app.

Good game. Bad port. 3 big things stick out. 1: This game spends *forever* syncing data when you start it. My average is over 60 seconds. 2: Your sound settings only apply before the title screen about 50% of the time, so you'll hear the logo noise and music during the interminable syncing data screen when you don't want to. 3: The controls are terrible. Cards are extremely sticky and I've lost runs because I just wanted to read a card.

The game plays much better upon purchasing the XP boost (which, to be fair, still puts the game under $5). Other IAPs make the game shorter and thus I wouldn't recommend. I've played just this game for 2 weeks. It's fun!

Mostly installed for adblocking, which promptly gave up after a day or two. Verified in the Settings menu that it was still enabled, it just wasn't doing anything. The search gimmick is neat, I guess, but built-in adblock was what got me to use it. When it turned out unreliable, I went back to my unified bookmarks on Chrome.

Figure out each class, unlock their new cards, smash your way up each difficulty level, and then head on over to Daily Challenge and see what today's mutators are. There's a bit of a learning curve, but once that's done, this game is a great time. You know what else is great? Buying it once and having everything else unlocked by playing!

Does what I want--locks apps out except for a customizable whitelist. 4/5 stars because it sets your lockout goals rather aggressively and can easily lock your phone down for much longer than you meant to if you don't pay attention. Treat the lockup screen like a loaded gun and you'll be fine. Also, the sarcastic messages when you try to use a blocked app get a little grating.

This app relies entirely on you caring about a cartoon tree. When you go to
a blacklisted app, all Forest does is threaten to kill the tree if you
don't turn back this instant. You're still completely free to kill the
made-up tree and go back to whatever app you installed this one to keep you
off of.

Used to be a 5 star app. A recent update broke the app completely, then another a few days later rolled out a "new," version that had scrapped or downgraded most features. The new interface makes it unnecessarily difficult to Flip Off for less than an hour, and the Whitelisted Apps feature is either gone or buried so deep I can't find it. In exchange, there are a bunch of social features--kind of ironic since this app's primary purpose is to get me off social media when I'm supposed to be productive. The text message auto-respond also seems to be gone. I don't see what I'm supposed to use this app for anymore, since I can just turn my phone off for mostly the same effect. If this were a free app, I'd be less annoyed, but I'm a premium subscriber and expect better. EDIT: Flipd has replied to this review. No information has been given on why key features (including those only available to paid subscribers) were removed or why a version that was clearly not ready was shipped. Look at recent reviews. Everyone agrees that some time in mid-August 2017 this went from a really useful app to a broken piece of shovelware. Why this change was made and effectively doubled down on is a mystery, and Flipd isn't talking. I wouldn't recommend giving a developer like this your money. EDIT 2: Full lock is back, whitelisted apps are still not, so there's no real upgrade over just turning your phone off. The "updated" interface that makes it difficult to Flip Off for any amount of time that isn't exactly 1 hour hasn't been improved. The paid version of this app is *still* worse than the free version used to be. Perplexing, since the devs have clearly been working on the app *and* keep piping in to remind me that the app is still ruined. My yearly subscription expires in February, so I'm gonna keep one eye on this app until then, but the devs continued deafness to app usability is hard to ignore. Still would not recommend. EDIT3: The White List is back, but only in name. The option is simply to enable or disable it. I can find no way to set what apps are Whitelisted, nor how to even tell what's on the Whitelist--I assume it's a handful of default apps like Play Music, which I don't use. Plus I have no way of knowing if that guess is right. The interface is *still* a form-over-function mess that looks pretty but makes flipping off for any amount of time that isn't exactly one hour needlessly difficult. I'm starting to feel sorry for the lady who has to reply to all these negative reviews as the actual development team continues to be utterly tone deaf about why people use this app.

This makes it really easy to tell which ones I generally agree with and which ones I generally disagree with. It also gives me all of my officials' contact information, making it super easy to call them about issues. Basically, this app lets me be a conscientious citizen while investing only a few minutes a week. Highly recommended for people who want more civil engagement but don't have much time to budget for it.

Android 6.0 cut a lot of quality of life features, like the ability to turn off the Google search bar. Nova lets me set my phone to work the way *I* want it to, not the way Google does.
