I loved working for Shipt until I was attacked by a dog during a delivery and needed to inform Shipt of my chronic health condition. Four days later, I was deactivated because my "customer rating remained below the minimum standard of service outlined in the Shopper Agreement". My rating at the time was 4.8 and the minimum was 4.7. I appealed the decision and when they received it, the acknowledged noting that "the appeal will be limited to the noted reason and whether it violated the terms of the Shopper Agreement." Based on what they initially told me, it should have been overturned. When I received their decision, the email stated that "deactivation was based off of behavior that violated the Shopper Agreement". No one will tell me why and customer service while initially telling me "I'm sorry to hear that. Let me check into that for you," abruptly stated "I must end this conversation. Good Luck." I believe I was discriminated against and due to the control that the company has over it's "independent contractors", their status as a facilitator is actually fraud. I am seeking legal counsel and hopefully, issues such as this won't happen to anyone else.

Shipt is better. Customers are more understanding and not entitled. Shipt management is better. Policies are better.
