Great free app. Layout could be a little better integrated. No update in over a year. Still awesome though.

So you pay your Apple care plus every month and you expect to get priority service and then just because the iPhone 14 is launching apparently every Apple technician is now an Apple sales person and three days later you still don’t have any response to a request for help.

The app is OK with limited functionality for somethings compared to full version subscription services like ring and nest. I can’t really complain about these cameras because of their price point and typical durability. But this app is another issue. I have not gotten icon badges at all ever since day one. I get banners and sounds and other things like that but no matter what I do I cannot get badges. And this wouldn’t be a big issue but sometimes you swipe away multiple notification banners that are persistent or in this case, even setting the banners to persistent is not working because they are stuck on temporary. Added to the wonky Ness of the notification screen on the iPhone itself, where sometimes there’s no active notifications but there are past notifications and sometimes even when you swipe back up you don’t see those missed notifications, this is where the problem with not having badges comes in. But I’ve been dealing with this for over two years and multiple tickets later I still don’t have a fix for it.

Surfshark locked me out halfway through my subscription. To get back in they asked for all sorts of info they shouldn’t ask for to include my card number, ccv, and expiration date. Not even my bank has the CCV code. They told me they had to know all my credit info. My bank said no one would have the CCV code for any card especially a deactivated card. So. I lost my money. Not sure I’d trust these people.
Update.
Since I had already paid for two years and I wanted to test my ISPs speed for suspected throttling, I reinstalled Surfshark. As I was going through my account settings I noticed that auto renewal was still enabled even though I had disabled it in a previous version of the app.
I had to get online and chat with a representative who sent me a link to a webpage questionnaire as to why I wanted to turn auto renewal off. So that’s another sketchy sort of thing to keep in mind.
Why would you not be able to manage your subscription right through the app? Why would you need a hidden secret link to a questionnaire before you could take control of your payment methods?

I have notifications on. Badge banner tones all of them. To date, 3 years now, I don’t get a red dot badge in the app icon until after I open the app. Banner shows but won’t stay persistent and Notification Center shows events. But if you miss those you might never know.

When T-Mobile Tuesdays first started it was pretty cool. $.10 off a gallon of gas and every other week was a free item in the store. Free food usable coupons. Now you get five cents a gallon for gas and the rules are confusing making the entire idea non-competitive. It’s the same old car rental and hotel room coupons. Free food from time to time as long as you purchase something else and as long as you do it within that businesses app. Covid or not, there should be a way to get the same stuff we used to get in the store. Oh don’t forget about all the prizes that literally who knows if anybody ever actually wins. Ever since John left as CEO the entire thing has become a lot more like Verizon and AT&T. All this fake Wolk stuff T-Mobile‘s got going on and it’s just really offputting. Don’t forget about all of the over-the-top cheesy completely extra sincerity that each representative copies and paste or waste 10 minutes typing just to answer a simple question. I sincerely miss John Legere.

Listen are used Spotify for the longest time and it’s built in equalizer was not very good. I love Apple Music but since I changed from android to iOS, I lost the ability to use the application that had the absolute best equalizer ever. It made crappy speakers sound good. But Apple‘s DRM completely ruins the experience because there are no third-party equalizer you can use in the App Store. All they are are a different music player. You still can’t use them. So with that said the preset equalizers in iOS are OK but I need more granular control. Even if it’s not 3-D sound and surroundsound and all of this other, at least need a customizable equalizer. After all, boom might be the best app for an equalizer but it does not work with Apple. Apple could really seize the day in the opportunity by including this in their service or iOS 15.x. Again, we need options. If you’ve already got presets in there it’s not a big deal to add a customizable option. You Prodger self on your service and your app and your selection of music, but where is the flexibility for the end user to have options for a better audio experience?

Long story short, I had bought the subscription and the app from surfshark.com and download it from the Google play store. I’ll later switched over to iOS and was able to install it once again on my iPhone.However I had a snafu with my Apple keychain and passwords and somehow wound up creating an issue but I no longer have access to my old email because I had deactivated it. Of course it’s my fault for having not exported certain receipts so I had no proof to go on so that I could change my email with Surfshark and there was nothing they could do for me so basically paid for three years only got one and that’s just the way it is. So basically the app worked pretty well but I can’t use it anymore and Surfshark was not able to reinstate or reactivate my Surfshark subscription or access so I’d have to take away a couple stars just for that.

This app is just about the slowest app out there. Switching between screens takes 15 to 30 seconds. You cannot change your email through the app so you have to call customer service and this could take you a few months to accomplish.

RH censored investors’ wishes with GameStop and BlackBerry and AMC, etc.

I like this app having used Torque Pro on Android for 10 years. However I have sent 2 questions to the developer through the app with no response over a couple weeks.
So app is good but dev communication is bad.

I really wish all of these speed test apps would report back to the ISP or wireless carrier for which is being tested so that results would benefit a better experience.

Dev still hasn't replied to emails sent regarding all listed issues from within this review. There have been several emails sent for various issues.
Sometimes when opening app it asks to ID a 2-3 digit number that has not contacted me or that I haven't copied. There is no explanation for this. IDK if these are texts or calls that were blocked but they never came through if these were real and not an app error.

Keep having issues with this version. Android works so must be iOS.
But still, doesn't do what it claims to do.
Wish iOS allowed real time caller ID instead of only after the fact.
I find that numbers IDd after the call are actually spam numbers according to Hiya. However Hiya does not block them.
Response to Dev:
App is launched and never closed out. I still have to wait until after the call to lookup the name. Updates are done.

Come on. Restart redownload reinstall restart. WiFi and LTE. Just doesn’t work anymore.

Does nothing for Chrome browser.

Hiya is much better. Might be cause T-Mobile includes it free so it has more results.

So.....I guess this app doesn’t work.

Obviously Roku is paid by streaming services. The fact there are no numerical buttons on a 900 channel digital TV remote means changing channels takes 15 minutes. Remote is a bad clone of the physical one.

Doesn't work when Bluetooth speaker is connected to phone. Not understanding the negative reviews. I can't speak to the misrouted conversations a few complain about. I haven't had any. Uses wifi and or data. It's not magic. NEEDS data. No data no talky.

Good effort but the same 10 ads over and over. 5 ads every 10 min. It's taken me 30 min to watch 20 min of a movie.

Proof of contribution would be nice. Hexes never update with new data points. Open Signal shows much more crowd sourced info in areas I have tested this app. Of course, I'm on T-Mobile and this app is paid for by Verizon. So there's that.

No carrier other than Verizon will display. No arrow to connected tower. Oops error every time you zoom in or out. Really lacking in results compared to Android.

Can't shop through app. Slower than the desktop site. Hangs and freezes. Never loads pages. Just horrible. Like the full browser version.

I use google apps. Siri can't interact with G apps correctly. Just better at search and results and contextual content.
Needs to replace Siri as home button search agent.

Does everything I needed to do except for automatically crop a document photo like the android version of Drive does.

Great features but current temp is usually 7-10 degrees inaccurate.
