for unknown reasons, I was banned from Hinge and Tinder at the exact same time. I appealed both bands, and the Tinder band was reversed, and I was allowed back on the app, however, Hinge refused to accept my appeal due to the fact that I was banned on Tinder because they share the same brand. so now I am permanently banned on Hinge and cannot re-appeal. And both apps would not give me a reason for the ban just that I had “Violated community guidelines” and would not tell me what guidelines I had violated. It’s ridiculous that they would ban someone without probable cause and not reverse the band when it was appealed.

Are you just purposely trying to keep your stock price low? You continue to permanently ban the very same customers who helped build your company into a multi billion dollar corporation. It just makes absolutely zero sense. People deserve a second chance at finding love. Finding love is the most important goal for every single human on earth, and your company just continues to permanently ban lonely people, which then causes them even more loneliness, depression, and extreme mental and emotional anguish. A temporary six month ban makes the most sense. A temporary six month ban will make people realize how much they loved Tinder or Hinge, and they will then understand what they can and cannot do on the apps. You permanently ban so many men and women who truly do not deserve it.
Your permanent banning system is doing nothing but causing depression, loneliness, and making people hate your company. You permanently ban the very same paying customers who helped build your company, then they feel very betrayed that they have given thousands of dollars to your company, and just get permanently banned without a warning, without a second chance, and without a chance to explain themselves at all.
Developers, can someone please answer me. Seriously, can someone just PLEASE answer me? And not some copy and paste response. My question is, how can you just sit there and continuously cause depression and loneliness for people due to your permanent banning? How can you ruin so many lives without giving people a second chance? Yes, some people truly deserve to be permanently banned. But some people are permanently banned for extremely small infractions and they deserve a second chance at finding love through your company.

You would think that paying a very pricey- monthly fee for an APP …would give you less recycling of “compatibles and locals”. The truth is you can do the same without paying the fee and still get the same results… it’s the same over and over of the people that have not deleted accounts or stray odd balls. You can narrow down age parameters which is a great tool. I would give this app a minus 1; it’s just not really all that innovative in the process of ideal candidates; and the amount of positives are from small platform results. Photos and info are poor information, their algorithm is diminutive. Don’t waste your time and money…

It says 17+ but when I put my age in and I said I was 17 which I am it told me I was too young😭

I’ve been shadow banned off hinge about 4 times. They keep removing my account and giving it back to me just to remove it again because of a “detection of an automated tool”, are they talking about a cellphone because what does that even mean? They’re woman actively selling OF accounts and trying to meet up for adult fun yet someone that is genuinely using the app just to date gets their account taken down

I swear it takes 50 swipe no's just to find one girl I think I might find attractive. Swiping through profiles isn't even fun or useful cuz everyone is unattractive. Idk if there's just no user base but the only people I ever swipe on are roses once a week. So this app is easily the least used out of the three big ones and it's really disappointing considering it used to be my favorite. Now the algorithm just hates me and doesn't want me to find someone I find attractive.

Tried again on my phone, it didn’t send a code so I clicked send again and it locked me out from “too many attempts “. Alright. Shouldn’t be so hard to sign up to a dating app.

Very specific feedback but PLEASE I need people to have more options for politics because the bucket of "other" is doing too much heavy lifting. I see it highly used and it could mean anything from anarchism to ecofascism to socialist to libertarian. And I am down with some of those but def not all!!
I think it's particularly that the people who tend to select this option have strong beliefs, so they aren't going to hit "prefer not to say" or "not political" so I feel like I need to know even more so.

Terrible dating site. They say they set you up with the most compatible people. When in reality they set you up with the most incompatible people. That is probably to keep you on the sight longer and make you pay more.
