Steam means so much to me and to see a dedicated application to check the store, notifications, library along with so much more is just great. This app also is super useful because of the security feature that keeps your account from being stolen.

While browsing the store, I found a game with very sexualized images displayed before you follow to its page. In shock and disbelief I opened its store page and was greeted by a full on pornographic trailer and multiple pictures of the same impurity. THIS APP IS DANGEROUS FOR CHILDREN! The fact that anyone can sign up for a steam account, log into their account on a phone and find thousands of games showing porn is a red flag. If the devs haven’t noticed these then I’m disappointed. There is an actual search category you can find called “sex”. Please get rid of this or atleast bring the age restrictions wayyy up!

Many people have had an issue linking YouTube and they are not resolving the issue

Steam does not support 2FA like all normal sites these days, instead you have to use steam guard that gives you a code in the app if you want that security. Really bad when the app can’t load

App won’t open

App is just a blank gray screen. Will not load, I don’t know how to login now.

Yes there are a bunch of things I want to play on there but I can’t even sign into the thing I couldn’t even get an email from when I was trying to make an account 😡😡😡

When opened, the app shows a steam logo and then force exits the app

I had the same crashing issues on launch. I ended up deleting and reinstalling and the app is working. I don't use my steam deck or the app too often to judge how great the app is, but I just hoped to help out those with crashing issues.

The steam app just keeps crashing every time I open it and it won’t stop even with a restart and reinstall. App works fine for a steam app before this issue tho.
