I love this app.
I wish that you could watch the whole game live without having ESPN or other game apps.
But other than that this app is good, no glitches or freezing. I recommend this app.

Literally does nothing but allow me to select my favorite team. Then it moves on to ask about notification settings. All you can do is navigate to your phone settings to toggle on or off notifications. When you go back to the app, nothing else is available. Tried logging in with my nba ID… still nothing.

Only thing I don’t like is that if we have a NBA app why can’t we watch the NBA on it without a subscription?

There is a section of the app where it pretends you have control over notifications, but it notifies relentlessly in opposition to preferences. Users have no control over notifications, they’re either on all the time or you turn them off completely. I selected to only receive game start time notifications for my favorite team, every single other notification is “turned off,” but I get 2-3 notifications per day.

You pay 16 dollars and yet there is only a limited amount of games that you can watch. They give you the radio( listening option) which is just useless because you can’t watch the game. This includes that you can’t watch your local team play as well. Really and for what you pay 👎

It’s been filled with bugs and issues since the relaunch. To name a few: The trivia games are busted; sometimes they tell you you’re wrong, even when your answer is right. Stats pages just load nba.com with an in-app browser. This would be fine, but it’s way slower than Safari.
