I’m really disappointed because I ordered food and the quality of the food wasn’t right, after complaining they told me that I’ve been refunded buts it’s been over 3 weeks now and the money was never refunded in my account

I ordered the food and the driver indicated on the APP that he delivered my food which I never received but paid for.

I hate writing bad reviews. I think the app should change, have an option for the other end to say they don’t have something or they can substitute. I get wrong orders all the time, or a messed up one. Than I complain than I feel bad because I keep getting refunds which for me isn’t even the point. Because I’m particular with my orders and I want what I ordered. Who brings a muffin instead of a piece of cake or a different substitute to what you wanted😔. I ask for zinger box master and they send me a original blend one even when I asked ZINGER. I wish they can just say “NO” we don’t have it and I can cancel my order and order from a different store that has it. 2024 app -You can’t add notes aswel now, you cant even say what you want. I guess uber eats needs competition now because now i have to call kfc if i wasnt a box master thats is a zinger fillet instead of original. How sad

When the an Uber eats driver cancels the delivery and another driver accepts, the chat functionality breaks and doesn’t allow you to message the new driver. Please fix this issue.

I have had 2 orders stolen

Uber eats tried to deduct money from my account when I had already paid the full amount

This company basically deserves no stars , on my first order with them I received a promo code to use when purchasing for the first time on the app and it kept saying it’s not eligible, after contacting them many time ,all I would get is “please explain further for assistance “ but I explained thoroughly many times , it’s not rocket science . They just avoid you at any cost to help . Worst service ever ! I definitely don’t recommend!

I ordered twice and i did not get what i ordered 🚮

I’m about to delete the app because of the underlying charges… so let me share…
Firstly, they charge my account R20 just as I place the order…. I do not get this back!
Secondly they have service fees and delivery fees on top of that!
3. The you tip the delivery driver (he deserves it)
4. They also mark up the food astronomically!!!
Mr.D always has better deals and is cheaper.

And when your order is 1.5 hours late, it’s really really annoying, and you have no recourse.
On top of that, the app performance is declining, as the software seems to be getting slower and slower, less and less polished.
I’ve deleted this app. Buy groceries, save money
