I have enjoyed using ZIP! It has given me the freedom to purchase things I need or even pay a bill when cash is a little tight! No worrying about interest payments or the bill being an unexpected amount! I highly recommend!

I love zip but really hate that you have to wait months for a boost. I started off with $50 and after 5 on time payments I went up $25🙄 I was at least hoping for at least a $50 boost

I created a Zip account due to a retailer promotion. Checkout went smoothly. You need your name and phone number to do so. Very fast and very easy. Really good onboarding experience.
App also has a nice clean UI that feels like it was made by real people and not marketing/numbers driven. So far so good.
When I log in to Zip to make payment #2, I receive a login error.
I go to recover my account and I can't. You have to contact Customer Support. Okay, that's actually easy to find and not hidden on their website. That's where the problems start.
They take 3 days to get back to me, only to request that I send photos of me and a government ID and a copy of my phone bill in order to remove a hold that has been placed on my account.
Then state they can't guarantee the hold will be removed.
The link for verification was a third party site that I have not heard of, nor was it explained what it was.
This is the exact email format I would expect from a Phishing attempt.
Overall, Support is slow and unhelpful. The service seems fine if you don't need customer support, but terrible if you do.
Because of that I do not recommend this to anyone.

When I’m in need of groceries or essentials, Zip has been the best for me to get those items when funds are low. Then when I have the money I pay in full if the balance is below $50 early and I just love that I can change the withdraw date if it falls during the week as opposed to on a friday (payday). Thank You Zip!
