The intended users are people who are placed under mandatory home quaratine for 14 days by the Hong Kong government for the risk of spreading the Coronavirus.
2) Are people required to use the app?
Yes, everybody placed under mandatory home quaratine must use the app.
3) Where and how do users get the wristband?
The Hong Kong Government will give users the wristband at the border customs when users enter Hong Kong from China.
4) Who is collecting and receiving the location data?
The Hong Kong Government is collecting and recieving zone detection data to ensure all quarantined users remain at home during the 14 days period.
5) What happens when users tap on “call for help”?
When user tap on "Call for Help," the app will dial the hotline of the Hong Kong Department of Health.
6) How does your app inform what is the background location used for?
We have updated the info.plist to inform app users that the background location will be used to ensure that they remain within their designated quarantine zone as according to the Hong Kong government quarantine policy. Users will also be given the information when the border and custom control officers install the app and attach their assigned wristbands.
