Jonathan Smith is a graduate from Miami University where he began to hone in his golf and coaching knowledge by pursuing a degree in Sports Organization.
His experience in the golf industry has spanned more than 2 decades where Jonathan has firmly focused on teaching golfers of all experience levels.
Throughout that time he has acquired multiple teaching certifications. His certifications have come from the Hank Johnson School of Golf as well as the Golf Schools by Golf Made Simple. From 2016-2018 Jonathan gave over 2000 hours of group and individual adult lessons while at the Golf Made Simple Golf Schools.
Jonathan's previous experience includes time spent as the Assistant Golf Professional and the Director of the Junior Golf programs at Hoover Country Club in Alabama. He was also as an independent coach with Golf Channel Academy at Eagle Trace Golf Course in Coral Springs where he focused on Game Improvement Programs.
His experiences make it easy for him to work with all ages and all skill levels. Finding the cause of the golfer's problems and improving the fundamentals needed for consistent golf of all abilities, is what makes Jonathan's teaching techniques enjoyable to all who have had the opportunity to work with him and improve their golf game.
