Useful- Lacks functionality

Helpful in understanding and coordinating how you feel with nutrition, hydration, and more.
Data is FLAWED. If you have days or weeks without scans, it records as 100% good rather than excluding the data from metrics.
No custom date range
No ability to export data into functional sheets

Very unhappy

Customer service is horrible. Watch out - you have to double, no triple-check that you’ve canceled as they’ll keep charging you with no refund. Infuriating.

Not a user-friendly ptogram.

The company sent 4 emails explaining the CGM device. But one must be well- eared in technology in order to use their program. One of the emails provides a QR code that must be scanned as a step in activating the program but the note says it only works on your mobile phone. However it won’t open on my iPhone. Also, in inputting insurance information if you put in Medicare it says sorry, can’t have access to a nutritionist with that insurance. If you attempt to go back to put in your secondary insurance it won’t let you and closes you out of the program. Repeatedly it tells me that it doesn’t recognize my password. I changed the PW but was then told sorry somebody already has an account with that email. Circular problems. One problem after another. Meanwhile, they take $299 a month from you and you can’t even activate your CGM. This is not a user-friendly program. An inflated price for a program that is not worth it. You can get the Free Style Libre much cheaper with less hassle elsewhere.

Deceptive subscription practices - beware

I had to file a claim with my credit card company after receiving faulty sensors that didn’t work properly. Nutrisense would not let me cancel.

Issues of loading up

It has happened many times that the app doesn’t load up properly after scanning the sensor. I always have to either turn off my phone completely—power off, or reinstalling the app. If it’s one time thing, then no problem; but it happens quite often and It is annoying.
Updates: I forgot to mention that I have had to calibrate my sensor for the past 6 months. That’s 12 sensors!! What is the point if the numbers are “real”?! This adds more stresses and possibly spikes my blood sugar!

Good app, needs more personal support

The app is good and has a tremendous amount of information. However, it requires more explanation to really understand the nuances of your blood sugar trends. The nutritionist that they give you for the first four weeks provides information that is quite generic and after that you’re on your own. For what we are paying for this - over $200 a month – we should be able to get that personalized support throughout so that we truly understand what we’re reading.

Nutrisense provides great deal of education

Nutrisense is an extremely educational product that enlightens users to the affects of glucose on the body. I found it easy to use and very helpful in determining spikes. The only issue is the high price.

NOT user friendly

What a total waste of money this has been. I did not get directions included with my sensor. I'm not somebody who's comfortable having to figure out how to use an app. Getting phone support is almost impossible and I am not pleased whatsoever with this product and would never recommend it

Incredible insights

First off, the NS customer support is unparalleled. They are responsive and reliable, and they genuinely care to help with any questions.
The actual CGM experience has been eye-opening. I’m using one for my own curiosity, as I do not have T2 or other condition that would require keeping an eye on my glucose levels. It’s not cheap, but I’m glad I saved up for a 3-mo membership. The app itself I get to keep, which is great bc of the history of my food & journal logs.
My first 2 weeks I focused on understanding the whole process; then I took a break. 2nd two weeks (so 1 month of 3) I used to see how I’d respond to specific foods and behaviors.
3rd two weeks I used while traveling internationally to see how my body handles the stress from a glucose perspective, as well as how I respond to things I normally do eat/do. It ran out during my trip so I felt a bit aimless toward the end, lol
Now I’m back and after a week of being home I’m using my remaining 2 weeks of my 2nd month to see how I go adjusting to being back in my routine.
I have 1 more month in my membership and as you can see, NS is super cool about stopping/starting whenever. Basically, if you activate a sensors anytime then you have 2 weeks.
I also had a couple of wonky issues and NS was super cool about replacing the sensors with no issues.
All in all I wish everyone could have 3mo with a CGM to learn about yourself. It’s FASCINATING data!!
