The concept is that the APP consists of 3 levels of multiple choice (m/c) testing. The 3 levels are; Foundation, Advanced and Interview Ready (Easy, Medium and Hard). Within each level there are modules (name under review). Foundation has 14 modules while Advanced and Interview Ready have 6 each. When you click on the level you are given a free preview of 5-8 questions that are samples, or a preview, of what to expect. To purchase the Foundation part of the APP it costs $50 per month and to upgrade for the entire product it costs $99 per month. Each m/c test is a series of 15-20 questions. We will have a bank of 50+ questions that are randomly selected where the possible answers are also randomly assigned to ensure that the user is not memorising the content. At the end of each test the user is given a score as well as a percentage. If the percentage is 50% or above, they are awarded an accolade, the higher the score grander the accolade eg: 70% = Bronze, 90% = Silver, 100% = Gold, etc. Once the user achieves 70% in a module Timer mode is unlocked. This is exactly the same randomised tests however, this time with a time limit putting more pressure on the user. Some questions may be excluded from Timer mode depending on the complexity as well as the amount of text used. Achieving a high score in Timer Mode unlocks further accolades as a reward for the user. Once the user has achieved a minimum level across all modules they receive a Trophy for the level itself. The higher the minimum score across all modules the higher the type of Trophy awarded eg: Bronze, Silver, Gold.
When the APP is opened it is navigated in portrait view however when the test starts it switches to landscape. The question initially appears large on screen (landscape) the user taps the question to reduce the size of the text box so it is now in the top left corner. The possible answers are on the right in boxes and beneath the question is a custom graphic. The custom graphic is purely for entertainment/engagement purposes using a basic hangman formula. For example if the test is framing based the avatar will be putting a frame together with each question. When the results is rewarded at the conclusion the avatar is either unhappy, ok or very happy with the work completed. Another example is bricking up a wall or plastering and painting a wall. In timer mode we can add comical elements so when the user has too many wrong answers that 50% cannot be achieved the wall falls on the avatar, or Worksafe arrives on site and the game is concluded.
The user can customise the Avatar, change the colour of clothing and upload a logo so it appears on the avatar’s chest or back. The user is encouraged to put their company logo here.
When the user has achieved 70% in timer mode it will unlock “challenge the trainer” mode. Here we will have the best time and scores of our trainers where the user can challenge to beat their score. This will be rewarded with another accolade.
